Ok, so this is the ever debated question, since it was even categorized in small print somewhere between marketing and sales. Does advertising work? Well, I guess the guys at Ambassador got that part covered in their annual report called “Advertising: Do You Buy It?” F@#k yeah I do!
I mean who doesn’t? Somewhere down the line someone has got to come up with a better way of getting this right. There is always two sides to a coin, and if Advertising did not exist. I guess nobody would be talking about products at all anyway.
Having just say digital spend outdoes print is not doing it, when most of us actually grew up with a strong brainwashed mind through MTV and Coca-Cola or Pepsi New Generation. How do you not be influenced by Advertising.
I also noticed quite a bit of change here, when it’s stated social and mobile advertising channels are the least trustworthy mediums. If that’s the case, then I guess I’m going to be out of a job soon!
But hey these guys seem to be experts at what they do. But I always believe that it’s imperative to have a bit of ying and yang. What do you guys think? Check out the entire infographic here.
